SOBA New Jersey Opens New Drug & Alcohol Detox Center in New Brunswick

Published on

SOBA New Jersey, one of the state’s premier drug rehab and mental health treatment centers, will be opening a new drug and alcohol detox center in New Brunswick next year.

Within walking distance of Rutgers University, SOBA New Jersey offers customizable treatment programs for substance abuse addiction, including an innovative young adult track for patients aged 18-25. SOBA patients progress through three clinical phases addressing overall physical and mental wellbeing, a foundation for developing self sufficiency and ultimately aiding their transition to life after treatment.

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, there are approximately 10 million new students entering college each year — 40% of these students reported using alcohol and 26% illegal drugs. SOBA’s College Recovery Addiction Treatment Center works closely with colleges and universities to ensure students don’t fall behind in school during treatment.

“College can be a very stressful time for students — increased responsibility, intensive course loads and no parents in sight — and some of them begin developing unhealthy habits with drugs and alcohol,” said Austin Giardullo, digital marketing specialist at SOBA New Jersey. “Our organization has been observing a growing demand from young adults in college, and our new drug and alcohol detox center in New Brunswick will ensure they’re receiving the services necessary to lead healthy and successful lives.”

As a renowned NJ drug rehab facility, SOBA’s team of experts can help patients overcome their addictions to alcohol, opioids, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, MDMA/Ecstasy and Adderall. Admissions Coordinators are available 24/7 at (800) 538-1205 to answer questions about treatments, insurance coverage, SOBA facilities and what items to bring.

SOBA offers short term residential care, partial care, or intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment to fit the needs of all patients. Professional on-site staff include a board certified psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, nutritionist and wellness coach, personal trainer, aftercare planner and dedicated case manager. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
